The first time I saw this beautiful creature, she was taking a cool drink of water from a creek. Charlie was a rescue dog from a packed shelter. After many months in a great home with beautiful, peaceful surroundings, she emerged a very happy dog and faithful companion. She can be seen perched on the back of a golf cart with her owners on their nightly trip to view the setting sun from the point, as they enjoy a great glass of wine together. One of my favorite animals I have ever met.
